Large Mulberry trees are very rare in the UK & seldom commercially available. I was fortunate in getting hold of a beautiful specimen which was 28 inches in diameter just below the crown. I milled it into 2 inch thick planks, which I seasoned, then glued together using biscuit joints. As the wood was pretty pitted it required quite a bit of filling, using clear resin. The table top is four foot six square and mounted on a simple oak frame. As you can see, it's an unusual yellowy brown colour. I'd be confident in saying, there's not another like it in the land!
